FIREWORKS!!
The FHS Music Boosters organization was selected to host a City of Folsom Fireworks Booth this year! We will need a lot volunteers to staff our booth. If you are able to help, please contact Joanne at fireworks@folsommusic.org. Our booth will be located at the Palladio in the parking lot near Whole Foods. More details will be posted on this website soon!

FOLSOM HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS SELECTED FOR HONOR BANDS/CHOIR
Congratulations to Seniors Courtney Sams, Sam Wamhoff, Nick Foley and Junior David Hanson for being selected to represent Folsom High School at the annual NCBA Convention, held January 20-22, 2012.

E ach November young musicians of middle school and high school age eagerly apply for an opportunity to be selected for the Northern California Band Association Honor Band. After weeks of practicing, perfecting scales and a specific musical selection, their talents are recorded and submitted for an audition.
The students selected participate in an extensive practice and then perform under the direction of the accomplished Dr. Anthony Mazzaferro of Fullerton College for a grand finale concert at Delta College, Stockton, CA.
Courtney Sams and Sam Wamhoff were also invited to attend the California Band Directors Association All State Honor Band in Fresno, California February 16 – 19, 2012.
Also in Fresno, Seniors Celeste Tauchar and Tanner Robinson were
C Tauchar, J Fox, Event Music Director, T Robinsonchosen to attend of the California Band Directors Association All State Jazz Choirfrom February 16 - 18, 2012. The event included a performance on February 18th.
